Sindh blessed with minerals, natural resources: Waseem

The Chairman Planning & Development Board Sindh Muhammad Waseem, who is also Acting Chief Secretary of Sindh, has said that the Sindh Province is a blessing for Pakistan which fulfills of the mineral and natural resources viz; Coal, Gas, Oil and other natural resource by the grace of Allah Almighty.
He was addressing the under training officers of government, who are on study visit to Sindh, under 24th Senior Management of Course and Inland Study Tours of 26th, Mid-Career Management Course by National Institute of Management, Lahore.
Muhammad Waseem noted that Sindh is a Province that is the Energy Hub of Country, having 99% of Pakistan Coal, 69% of Pakistan Natural Gas, and 38% of Pakistan Crude Oil.
He also highlighted various Development Project of the Sindh Province including Sindh Energy Goals, Sindh Petroleum Project, Sindh Nooriabad Power Project, Sindh Lakhral Coal Mining Project, K-IV(Four) Water Supply Project and S-III Sewerage Project.
The coordinators of visits Dr. Dawood Basit and Mis Asma Malik thanked the Chief Secretary Sindh for managing their study tour.
Additional IGP Dr. Ameer Shaikh, Secretary Services Naved Shaikh and Secretary Planning Dr. Sheerin Mustafa also attended the session.
