Shehbaz calls for achieving objectives of creation of Pakistan

Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated the entire nation on Pakistan Day and said that the resolution adopted in the historic meeting of Minto Park was practical shape of Allama Iqbal’s dream of creation of a separate country for Muslims of the sub-continent. He said that Pakistan Resolution is a milestone in the struggle for independence. He said that Pakistan Day is of historical importance in Pakistan Movement.
In a message on Pakistan Day, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is a result of the thinking of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and tireless efforts of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He said sacrifices made by the founders of the country demand that the objectives of creation of Pakistan should be achieved.
He said on this day, the nation will have to pledge that Pakistan will be transformed in accordance with the vision of founders of the country. Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is facing serious issues like terrorism and extremism and Pakistan Muslim League-N government is making sincere efforts for overcoming terrorism, extremism and energy crisis.
He said that the aim of progress and prosperity of Pakistan can be achieved by adopting the principles of unity, discipline, hard work and honesty.
He said that in order to achieve a dignified status in the comity of nations, Quaid-e-Azam’s principles will have to be followed. He said on this day, the nation should pledge that no effort will be spared for ensuring a dignified status for the country at international level.
