Sharjeel warrant suspended

The Accountability Court in Karachi on Saturday suspended the arrest warrant of former provincial minister for information Sharjeel Memon in Rs 5 billion corruption case.
During the hearing the court also stopped the action to declare Sharjeel ‘wanted’ in the case.
The court took the decision after Sharjeel Memon received a bail from Sindh High Court.
Earlier, the accountability court had issued non-bailable warrants for former Sindh Minister for Information Memon and other accused on Jan 7.
