Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting here today to review progress on different matters regarding provision of quality treatment facilities to the people of the province. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that service to ailing humanity is also a form of worship and we have to take immediate steps for this purpose.
He said that provision of quality facilities in the hospitals is right of patients and he will not rest content till ensuring this right to them. He said that all out cooperation will be acquired for improving healthcare system as aim of his life is service to the people and he will go to last limit for achieving this objective.
He said that the experiment of outsourcing management of some hospitals has been very successful and this model will be further extended so that the patients could get the standard treatment facilities in the hospitals which is their right. Provincial Ministers, Kh. Salman Rafique, Kh. Imran Nazir, Additional Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning & Development, Secretary Communication & Works and concerned officials attended the meeting.
