Shahbaz lambasts blasts in SA

Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif telephoned Saudi ambassador in Pakistan Tuesday and strongly condemned blasts in Medina Munawara, Jeddah and Qatif.
He paid tributes to the sacrifices of security officials who embraced martyrdom in the incidents.
Talking to Saudi ambassador, Shahbaz Sharif said “these blasts are deplorable and tantamount to attack on Muslim Ummah. The whole Muslim Ummah is deeply shocked and grieved over these attacks. Due to the grace of Allah Almighty and timely action of security personnel, the heinous conspiracy of the brutal elements could not succeed”.
He said that suicide attack outside Masjid-e-Nabvi has exposed the evil designs of the enemy. He said that sympathies of the people of Pakistan are with the Saudi government and people.
He prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
“The incident of terrorism in the holy month of Ramadan is strongly condemnable. The enemy has attacked the heart of Muslim Ummah. The people of Pakistan are standing by their Saudi brethren in this hour”, the Chief Minister said.
