Shah thanks Pakistan for passing Kashmir resolution

Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained General Secretary of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Shabbir Ahmad Shah has thanked the government of Pakistan for unanimously passing a resolution in the joint sitting of the parliament over Kashmir in which it was said that Kashmir was not an integral part of India.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the joint session of Pakistan Parliament also unanimously passed the resolution, urging the international community to carry out an independent investigation into gross human rights violations in Kashmir.He reiterated his appeal to China, Russia, US, G-7 nations, European Union, and OIC to play role in resolving the Kashmir dispute
He stressed the people to strictly follow the protest programme of the joint resistance leadership, saying, “Our sacrifices will not go waste.” The peace in South Asia is linked to Kashmir and to sideline the issue would prove detrimental to the entire region,” he added.
Terming the APHC appeal to donate a minimum of Rs 500 each to the local Baitul Maals for helping the transporters right and timely decision, Shabir Ahmad Shah said though the whole people are rendering sacrifices, but the transport fraternity has suffered a lot.
“We are aware of the difficulties the people face but the protests and strikes are our only options. Such sacrifices are vital for the achievement of a larger goal. We hail the spirit and resolve of our people,” he said.
Strongly condemning the state terrorism, Shabbir Shah said the so-called rulers have become much arrogant in power and are unabatedly showering bullets on children.
Expressing grief over the martyrdom of a teenage boy, he said such killings have become a routine for us. “We equally share the grief at this time and express solidarity with the bereaved family”, he said.—KMS
