Shah hails OIC support to Kashmir cause

Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Secretary General of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Shabbir Ahmad Shah has hailed the unwavering support of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to Kashmir cause.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar urged the OIC member states to put pressure on India to end human rights violations in Kashmir and fulfill the promises made with the Kashmiris.
Condemning the approach of puppet administration towards the government employees, he said employees are the respectable part of society and “we won’t leave them at the mercy of the circumstances”.
Expressing strong resentment over the arbitrary arrests of youth, the APHC Secretary General said that the Indian government had waged a full-fledged war against youth and was ruining their career. “The worst part is that even minors are pushed behind the bars in fake cases,” he deplored.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah appealed to the world to support Kashmir cause. He said Kashmir is a political dispute and needs a political solution through tripartite talks.
Hailing people’s resolve and steadfastness, he said the way people are resisting the forces is a golden chapter of Kashmir history.
“We are hopeful that people of Kashmir will continue to pursue the mission of martyrs,” he added. He said people should remain vigilant of their enemies and must bear in mind that India is on a mission of ethnic cleansing in Kashmir.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah reiterated his appeal to people to follow the protest programme issued by the joint resistance leadership in letter and spirit.—KMS
