Sewerage problem

Kiran Farooq

The sewerage problem in the great city of Karachi has always been ignored by the authorities. The present sewerage system in the city is years long whereas the population of Karachi has multiplied, therefore the existing sewerage structure remains choked and does not serve the purpose for which it was built.
The sewerage water overflows and spreads in the lanes of locality which leads to the growth of mosquitoes. Presently, the Dengue fever has assumed epidemic proportions. Therefore, the attention of the authorities is hereby invited to look into the matter and redress the grievances.
