Sana Samad

After the attacks at PTC and Civil Hospital Quetta which killed more than 130 people with umpteenth wounded, the Students of Bolan Medical College have expressed anxiety and grief over the situation and are living in a state of fear. Many of the female students have left the hostel of Girls’ Medical College for their safety, and some females are staying there because they have no other place as they cannot afford to rent an alternate accommodation in Quetta.
The PTC attack that killed most of the people belonging to Makran Division, has created more fear in the mind of females staying in hostels who also belong to Makran Division. Earlier a high level meeting took place in Quetta to discuss the growing worst conditions of the Quetta. Quetta is not safe at all as no one feels secure there. The security situation in Quetta has deteriorated in such ways in last few years as Quetta is threatened by the terrorist groups. The students of Bolan Medical College have requested the Chief Minister to provide security to the Bolan Medical College to ensure full protection of the students.
