Mohmand Agency—Government High School Navi KaliLaman tehsil Prang GharMohmand Agency with Support of Education Department launched School admission campaign here at Lower Mohmand Prang Ghar here on other day.
In this Connection a walk was also arranged from Government High School NaviKali which ended on the Navi Kali Chock. Agency Education Officer SaeedGul, Principal High School Navi Kali Muslaim, Amjad Ali, Daulat Khan, School teachers, students, elders of the area and a large numbers of peoples were attended the campaign. Participants of the walk were holding banners inscribed with “Education is my fundamental right” and “A child a book and a teacher can change the world” also they were chanting slogans Pakistan Zinda Bad and TaleemKoAamKaro.
Walk started from High school Navi Kali which ended on Navi Kali where at the end addressing the Participants Agency Education Officer SaeedGul told that on the special directives of KP Governor, Director Education FATA and we havestarts schools admission drive in the entire Mohmand tribal region.
AEO stressed the Mohmand tribesmen to admit all children in schools as government providing free books to every child.
Agency Education Officer SaeedGul said members of civil society, teachers, elected representatives and local tribesmen would make joint efforts to facilitate and motivate out of school children to join classes.“Indeed, it is a tough job, but we are trying to enrol all the children,” Gul said . AEO told that Teachers also distributed free books among the students of various government schools of the area.
On this occasion School Principal Muslim Shah admitted 20 new students in the schools he appealed to the parents that only through education we can defeat the menace of poverty and extremism. He said that a society cannot develop without education therefore every child of Mohmand get education.
A local resident Amjad Ali told that he can’t afford to admit all the three children in a school while today a group of teachers approached me in my house and they assure me that free textbooks would be provided to your children. “I have admitted all the three my children in the school today” he said
