SC for action against invalid Sindh appointments

Islamabad—Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Sindh government to sack employees of Health Department of Sindh whose appointments made violating the merit.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali heard the case. The bench remarked that it would dismiss Secretary of Health if verdict was not implemented.
Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali expressed annoyance over anti-corruption department for not taking action against people in higher positions.
The court also rejected the report submitted by Sindh Health Department. Later, hearing of the case was adjourned until Wednesday (November 30).—APP
