Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Youth Affairs & Sports, Chaudhry Sarfraz Afzal Saturday reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in PP-6.
Chairing a meeting at WASA office, Chaudhry Sarfraz Afzal directed the officials to complete all ongoing projects of sewerage and provision of potable water on time to facilitate the people.
Strict action would be taken against the officials showing negligence, he added.
On this occasion, Managing Director WASA, Raja Shaukat Mehmood said WASA was laying pipelines in Morgah Kotha Kalan, Dhoke Chaudrain, Gulriaz and adjoining areas and the ongoing projects were near to completion.
He said that laying sewerage pipeline project at Shakrail, Khana and Gangal had been completed at the cost of Rs 550 million. He appealed to the residents to be careful while using the water as it was the great blessing. Meanwhile, Water and Sanitation Agency WASA has completed a water supply scheme worth Rs 600 million and started its test operation to provide water to the residents of various localities of PP-6.
