Samsung Pakistan has successfully nurtured and groomed the talent in Pakistan, by establishing “The Nest I/O”, a technology incubator and powerful forum. Samsung believes in technology transfer and capacity building of local talent in every country where it operates. Subsequently, talented teams of young Pakistani entrepreneurs, incubated at The Nest I/O (Tech-incubator), have won several Gold and Silver Awards in various categories, at the 16th Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) ceremony held in Taipei city, from 2nd to 5th of December, 2016.Gold Award in the category of: “Inclusion and Community”, was given to a company named WonderTree. Their product “WonderTree” is a platform that helps special-children develop physical, social, academic and life skill-sets, through their augmented reality games.
