Staff Reporter

A former MQM leader Saleem Shahzad has sent letters to media persons complaining about his sufferings in Jail, claiming that he had kidney and cancer ailments, and yet was subjected to 25 years old cases, and kept in prions despite bail from anti-terrorist court.
He said that he had been in Pakistan for over six weeks, and feared for his life, as he was denied normal facilities, and needed treatment, which was on in London for long time, but had been suspended since his being jailed.
He said jail authorities knew about the seriousness of his ailments, and yet was not being listened to. He was not being taken to hospitals for check up and follow-ups, whereas several office bearers of political parties were allowed this facility.
He said that he should be treated like human being and allowed proper treatment, of which he was entitled as a citizen of Pakistan.
