The election campaign in NA-43 district ‘Khyber’ comprising the areas of Jamrud and Landikotal subdivisions has been getting momentum and the independent and political parties nominated candidates have launched their full swing election campaign at the every corner of the constituency. Talking to a huge public gathering at Ayub Afridi (late) village, the former MNA and the independent candidate Shaji Gul Afridi said that during his tenure he has fulfilled promises and responsibilities.
‘I would struggle to restore friendly and brotherly relations with our neighbor country Afghanistan like our forefathers had with them’. Shaji said adding that dry port and international level transport terminals at Torkham would soon be completed and functional which would also enhance the trade between Paksitan and Afghanistan and the local’s tribesmen trade will also be improved.
He said that now the every tribesmen of tribal regions have equal rights like the other citizen of Pakistan and there will be no discrimination with the people of tribal regions as these areas have now been merged in Khyber Pakhutnkhwa. He said now a prosperous life of tribal region’s people have started because the draconian law of FCR (Frontier Crimes Regulations) have been abolished. Shaji Gul Afridi said that he raised voice for the rights of tribesmen at the every platform during his time as the member of national assembly with no compromise on the rights and interests of the people.
Earlier senator Taj Muhammad Afridi also addressed the gathering and criticized the former representatives for spreading false allegations and propaganda against ‘Alhaj Group’.
