RSS trains young girls to use swords, daggers

Jammu—The 15-day long training programme of women wing of Rashtra Sevika Samiti’s (RSS) Monday concluded here at the Mubarak Mandi complex.
The programme for women was organised by the women wing where students were trained to handle batons and swords. “This programme was organised for the self defense of the women especially young girls,” a saffron leader said.
Speaking on the concluding function, RSS All India Chief Organizer, Shanta Kumari said the women have immense power if they recognize their potential and utilize it properly. 25 women have been trained in first year camp of RSS, while 52 women received training in the second year camp. It was announced that Rashtra Sevika Samiti (RSS) Jammu & Kashmir will be organizing a ‘Route March’ from Mubarak Mandi on July 4 at 10 AM.
March will pass though different areas like Panjteerthi, Kachi Chawni, Parade, Shallamar, City Chowk, Super Bazar, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar and conclude at Mubark Mandi.—RK
