Rs2b for forestry activities in GB

Islamabad

The federal government has allocated two billion rupees to for promoting forestry activities in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and involving local communities under Green Pakistan Programme.
Sources at Climate Change Division said on Sunday that 5.2 million rupees have been earmarked for capacity building and awareness campaigns.
The other projects include Habitat Development and Pasture Management for Wildlife Conservation.—INP
