Work on Rawalpindi Institute of Urology and Kidney Transplant (RIUKT) costing Rs 1.27 billion would be completed during 2017, Metro Bus Implementation Committee Chairman Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Tuesday said.
Talking to APP, he said state-of-the-art facility would be ready for the city residents and people of the adjoining localities in this year.
In the first phase, he said, 265-bed Urology and Transplant Center would be constructed for which the provincial government had so far spent more than Rs 300 million.
In the second phase, he said, 220-rooms nursing hostel and 24 doctors’ suites would be built to facilitate staff of the modern health unit. —APP
