Rescue 1122 to deploy extra ambulances/staff for PSL final

Punjab Emergency Services (Rescue 1122) Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer has said that the department will deploy extra ambulances and staff to provide emergency rescue & medical cover to the spectators of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final, on Sunday.
He was flanked by District Emergency Officer Lahore, Deputy Director Operations and other senior officers from headquarters, and Lahore, during his visit to Gaddafi Stadium to review overall emergency plan on Thursday.
The DG visited different enclosures of the stadium and inspected all entry and emergency exit points and discussed the security plan with officials of the stadium.
He said that Rescue 1122 would deploy 300 emergency medical technicians, fire & disasters teams, 21 ambulances, 12 fire vehicles, four rescue vans besides establishing 30 mobile rescue posts in and around the stadium. He said that Disaster Response Force, specialized in disaster management, will also be deployed at Rescue 1122’s Provincial Headquarters in order to provide backup support to District Emergency Services of Lahore.
