Relief goods handed over to Chinese govt

Islamabad—On the direction of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the first consignment of relief goods and items for rains and flood affected brotherly people of Wuhaan, China was handed over to the government of China on Monday.
The remaining consignments were being transported via ships in coming days, a statement issued from the PM’s Office said. The Government and the people of Pakistan sent the relief items to their Chinese brethren as a token of affiliation and immense concern in their times of distress.
This goodwill gesture has been highly appreciated by the government and the people of China and demonstrates the level of time-tested and brotherly relations between the two countries as well as concern for each other in difficult times, the statement
