Syed Hameed Shaheen Alvi Secretary General Kashmir Peace Institute has regretted that India claiming being a democracy has chosen pellets and bullets to slash the 77-year-old-Kashmir-dispute caged Kashmiris, hauling up youth, kids and women from their homes to dump them in torture dungeons in and outside of Kashmir territory.
Speaking to a group of learners journalists here Tuesday he said that the world democracies should take notice of the atrocities being perpetrated on Kashmir valley. A cloud of terror, fear and intimidation has been let loose by the Indian forces who occupy every open space, street, school and dispensary in Kashmir today. This all is being done under the nose of UN Military Observers Group stationed at Sonawari, Srinagar. Under these conditions we are justified to appeal to the Secretary General of the UNO Mr Antonio Guterres to rush a big contingent of protection to the Indian mauled parts of Kashmir, he urged.
Replying a question he said that the pen of the journalists can project the truth and the growing atrocities in IOK. Continued occupation of India for past 77 years over parts of Jammu and Kashmir is in itself worst terrorism perpetrated by military force, he observed.
Answering another query Syed Hameed Shaheen Alvi said that the mindset of Premier Narendera Modi is that of a sadist person. A sadist takes pleasure in oppressing others by any means. His mode of governance too reflects deep sadism. Soon, he predicted, the people within India would rise against him because of his chauvinist practices.
