RDA seals 6 houses illegally constructed

Rawalpindi—Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Wednesday sealed six houses illegally constructed here in residential areas of Asghar Mall, Pak Kashmir and Sarhad Valley, Dhamyal Road.
According to Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) spokesman, the RDA teams with the assistance of district police under the supervision of two Superintendents, Syed Muhammad Aslam and Nadeem Jamal, Enforcement Department Incharge, Rana Tariq Javed and Building inspectors conducted two operations on the directive of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/ Director General, RDA Azmat Mahmud and sealed six houses being constructed illegally.
He warned the citizens not to violate the building rules otherwise strict action in accordance with the law would be taken against the rules violators.
RDA’s building control department is conducting operations regularly against illegal and unauthorized commercial and residential construction and encroachments in the city, he added.—APP
