Rare gesture from Indonesia CG

For third successive year, Indonesian consul general Totok Prianamto celebrated the Independence days of Pakistan and Indonesia with a rar e gesture of having a day-long blood donation ceremony at the consulate. Totok is the new head of diplomatic mission, since last couple of months in Pakistan, but is extremely humble and courteous person, Pakistan Foundation its Independence day on 14th of August, Indonesia on 17th.
But the consulate vacated its main lounge to accommodate doctors, nurses, and paramedics from Afzal Memorial Thalassemia Centre for blood transfusion and invited several Indonesian students, and others living here for studies, jobs etc to contribute to the human duty.
A large number of persons donated blood. President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Musfassar Ata Malik, consul general Totok and executive director of AMTF Ateequr Rehman a devoted personality in short speeches highlighted the close bonds between the two countries, and the tremendous impact blood donation can have on humanity. The President of the Indonesia-Pakistan Business Council Shamood Zaki also donated blood alongwith others.
