Rajwana stresses youth to adopt positive behaviour

The Punjab Governor and Chancellor University of Sargodha (UoS) Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana has stressed the youth to adopt positive thinking and behavior. Addressing the 5th convocation ceremony at UoS on Wednesday, he said the government had adopted solid measures to ensure quality education which not only enlightened the young minds but also made them creative.
“Such steps will help in bringing the county stand with the advanced nations,” he added. Hailing the services of the UoS Vice Chancellor, he said the visionary leadership of Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed would lead the University flourish by leaps and bounds.
He opined the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was performing well in all fields especially in provision of quality education to youth.
Giving example of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said this project would prove to be a game changer for the whole region. Speaking on the occasion Vice Chancellor said that he was committed to transform UOS into one of the top universities of Pakistan.
Earlier,the governor gave away medals and cash prizes to the position holders of the Annual and Semester System Exams for the year 2013. The Lord Mayor of Oxford Muhammad Altaf Khan and Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr Nizam ud Din also attended the ceremony.—APP
