Rain, thundershower likely at isolated places

Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while hot and humid weather to continue elsewhere in the country during next 24 hours. Rainfall is likely in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, D.G Khan, Bahawalpur, Zhob, Kalat, Mirpurkhas divisions, Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during this time span. Seasonal Low lies over Northwest Balochistan.
Weak monsoon currents from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are continuously penetrating upper and central parts of the country and likely to continue during next 48 hours, an official of Met office told APP. Rain-thundershower with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, D.G.Khan, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Malakand, Peshawar, Mirpurkhas divisions and Kashmir.
Weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. Rainfall recorded during this time span remained: Punjab: Malakwal 77mm, Lahore (A/P 29mm, PU 11mm, City 01mm), Sahiwal 14mm, Sialkot (Cantt) 09mm, Sargodha (City 09mm, AP 01mm).—APP
