Rain, thunder- storm likely in different parts

Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Monday forecast rain-thunderstorm for most parts of Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Kashmir during next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, low pressure area was lying over northeast Balochistan and its adjoining area with its trough extending southeastward.
Very hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next 24 hours particularly Sindh and Balochistan.
Rain-thunderstorm with strong gusty winds is expected at few places in Kashmir, FATA, Islamabad, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Quetta and Zhob divisions,
While dust raising winds are also expected in south Punjab including Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan division, Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad divisions.
The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Parachinar 30 mm, Sargodha 2 mm and Zhob 1 mm.
The highest maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Sibbi 47 C.—APP
