Quetta, winner of PSL-2

Sana Samad

On 5th March, the PSL final was held in Lahore and first time PSL was played in Pakistan which was really a great achievement for the Pakistan cricket team. The whole nation enjoyed the match, but it was injustice with Quetta Gladiators. The four overseas players including Kiven Pietersen, Rossouw, Milns and other player disagreed to visit Pakistan for the final. These players were main player of the team and they were the reason that Quetta successfully made it in final. It was injustice with these players as they could not play the final and it was injustice with Quetta Gladiators that lost such players.
In the final, four new overseas players were included in Quetta team and due to them they were unsuccessful to win the final and other side Peshawar was playing with four overseas players and won the final. It was great that the final was held in Pakistan which is a positive sign for Pakistan team, but PCB should have ensure that the overseas players are ready to visit Pakistan to play final. If the final was held in Dubai then we could see the main overseas players and we could see a different game as in Lahore. We consider Quetta Gladiators, the winner of PSL-2 because they lost their main players and they were unsuccessful to win. Quetta Gladiators was the best team and they deserved to be called the champion of PSL-2.
