Quaid’s photo on soda can

I went to a restaurant the other day with my friends to have lunch. The waiter asked me which soft drink I would prefer. I told him to get me Pakola ice cream soda. When he brought the soft drink, I was shocked to see the picture of father of our nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on the can. The place of an empty soda can is dustbin. How can we even think of throwing away the picture of a man into the garbage bin who fought for providing a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia. This is the worst kind of product promotion I have ever seen. Before any company goes one step forward and starts printing Quaid-i-Azam’s picture on tissue paper, I urge the soda manufacturing company to recall all the unsold cans from the market and stop further manufacturing of these cans to avoid further humiliation of our national hero. Government should formulate laws whereby no one should be allowed to use pictures of our national heroes for commercial purposes.
