Qaim steps forward to reduce tensions between Rangers, minister

Karachi —Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday held a meeting to discuss the raid conducted by security forces in Larkana along with tension persisting between Rangers and Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial’s brother Tariq Sial.
Rangers (Sindh) Director General Major General Bilal Akbar gave briefing to the Chief Minister over the raid conducted in Larkana. General Bilal stated that the security forces conducted raid in order to apprehend culprit named Asad Kharal, further stating that Tariq Sial placed hurdles in the process.He stated that Kharal was the main culprit of the entire incident, further adding that Kharal was wanted in a number of cases. He added that culprits behind the entire incident shall be presented in the court after they get arrested.
The Chief Minister stated that the Rangers operation shall not be affected as a result of the incident and assured Sindh government’s utmost cooperation for the apprehension of the culprits.
Furthermore, Babu Sarwar Sial was also summoned by the law enforcement agencies in order to record a statement he spoke against Suhail Anwar Sial in a press conference.
Suhail Anwar Sial finds himself in a difficult position after the events taking place in Larkana, whereas, Pakistan People’s Party leadership was also considering to replace Sindh Home Minister.
