Calls for Aleppo conference; Friday marked as Solidarity Day with oppressed Syrians’
Ulemas, clerics and religious scholars addressing the conference that held here Friday to mark ‘Solidarity Day with Oppressed Syrians’ demanded of UN and Islamic Summit to take notice on prevailing atrocities on people of Aleppo. The clerics also urged on leadership of Islamic Ummah to take action through ‘Islamic Militarily Alliance’ against elements responsible for making interference in affairs of Muslim countries and particularly of Arab world.
Pakistan Ulema Council hosted the conference, titled, ‘Call for Aleppo’ in Islamabad to express solidarity with oppressed people of Syria and clerics from different religious schools of thought vowed that people of Pakistan are willing to support oppressed people of Syria. Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi addressing the conference said that silence on part of world community on prevailing atrocities against people of Syria is very alarming and concerning. Genocide is being made against people of Syria, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi adding that Islamic countries including Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar should play its role to stop ongoing massacre against Syrian people including children and women. World leadership is demonstrating a criminal negligence on killing of innocent children in Syria, said Tahir Ashrafi and resolved that Pakistan Ulema Council will keep continue its struggle by informing people of Pakistan about ongoing atrocities in Syria and Iraq.
He also urged on ruling governments of Iran and Russia to pity on innocent children of Syria who are being butchered under heavy bombardment. Conspiracies to plant a dictator and Killer on people of Syria will not prove successful, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi and warned world leadership that the entire world could turn into hell if sequel of foreign interference continued in Yemen and Bahrain after Aleppo.
He said supporters of Iran and Russia should keep in mind that they should stay away from making Middle East into battleground. On this Occasion Maulana Aqeel, Maulana Abdus Saboor, Maulana Abdul Hameed Sabri, Maulana Tahir Aqeel and Maulana Ashfaq Patafi also addressed the conference. Meanwhile clerics addressing with Friday sermons in different mosques all over the country expressed their solidarity with oppressed people of Aleppo. Secretary General Pakistan Ulema Council Allama Zahid Mehmood Qasmi addressing the conference said that people of Pakistan all united to support oppressed Muslims of Aleppo.
He said that divisions are being hatched in Arab world on sectarian grounds and conspiring elements are making moves after Syria and Yemen to disrupt peace of Harmain Al Sharifain. The entire Muslim Ummah is united and committed for defense and security of Harmain Al-Sharifain. He said that elemnets responsible for making attacks on children in Aleppo and Peshawar owns no affiliation from any religion and these elements are enemies of Humanity.
