PUC issues CoC for Hajj pilgrims

islamabad—Pakistan Ulema Council’s ‘Dar-ul-Afta’ while releasing guidance pamphlet for visiting Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to demonstrate tolerance during their stay in Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain and honor rules and regulations of religious ministry of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and brought any complaint or unlawful act in notice of the officials of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Addressing the inaugural session of ‘Code of Conduct’ for pilgrims that released here Sunday, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi stated that amidst prevailing scenario in Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, it is mandatory for pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia from across the world to ensure implementation on rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry and Ministry of Hajj. Amidst ongoing confronting challenges of Middle East and foreign intervention in affairs of Gulf countries, and owing to threats of rebel tribes of Yemen to Saudi Arabia and after suicide blasts in different cities of Saudi Arabia, all the pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia should stay away to make any sort of trouble for security personnel of Saudi Arabia and ensure peace, security and defense of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain, during their stay in Saudi Arabia, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi.
Pakistan Ulema Council’s ‘Dar-ul-Afta’ in its released guidance pamphlet stated that women, ill and elderly people pilgrims should stay away from crowded places and prefer to say their prayers at their residences and nearby mosques owing to massive rush in Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain. The released guidance document of Pakistan Ulema Council’s ‘Dar-ul-Afta’ also urged on pilgrims to stay away from any sort of political gatherings, processions, protests and sloganeering in premises of Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain. There might be some miscreant elements present in Mana, Arafat and Muzdalifa to distort peace and making chaos in Harmain-e-Al-Sharifain, and all such elements will be held accountable for making anarchy and Saudi Government will be rightful to take prompt action against all such elements as per its laws and customs. It is responsibility of the Saudi Government to provide peaceful and satisfactory environment for pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah.
The guidance pamphlet also lauded services of Saudi Government for pilgrims of Hajj and Umrah stating that Sadui Government for last 88 years has been successfully providing state of the art facilities for pilgrims of Hajj and Umrah and even today, all sort of the affairs of Hajj are being monitored by Crowned king of Saudi Arabia Shah Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Amir Muhammad bin Nayef personally that is very praiseworthy act and God will bestow them.
