PUC intends to eradicate terrorism, extremism: Ashrafi

Second World Message of Islam Conference’ will be held on 12th April 2017 at Convention Center, Islamabad that will be held by religious and political leadership of Pakistan and notable representatives of Islamic World and diplomats of Muslim countries in Pakistan, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council.
Addressing a press conference here Monday at Jamia Masjid Mahaz-bin-Jabal, Hafiz TahirAshrafi vowed that Pakistan Ulema Council will keep continue its struggle for eradication of terrorism, extremism and sectarian violence from Pakistan and all over Muslim world.
Representatives and office bearers of Pakistan Ulema Council from different divisions and districts also accompanied Hafiz TahirAshrafi on this occasion including Maulana Abdul Hameed Sabri, Maulana Nauman Hashir, Maulana Tahir Aqeel, MaulanaMumtaz Ahmed, Maulana Abdul Saboor, Maulana Shahzad Ahmed, Maulana Hafeezur Rehman Balakoti and others.
Pakistan Ulema Council has decided to consult with experts of Information technology, on blasphemous content issue at Social media websites, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi adding that Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan although made a good conduct by coordinating with Ambassadors of Muslim countries; however practical steps should be initiated against this grave issue to remove sacrilegious content from social websites and coordination should be made on permanent grounds with authorities of Face Book, Twitter and You Tube to block and remove this blasphemous content.
While highlighting basic objectives of the Second Message of Islam Conference, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that it will prove as a forum to unite leadership of Muslim Ummah to make an ideological alliance against terrorism extremism and sectarian violence.
