PU Dean gets EU Erasmus Mundus Leader scholarship

Lahore—Punjab University Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, Professor of Zoology and former Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan has won another European Union’s Erasmus Mundus LEADER Academic Staff Mobility Scholarship 2016 for University of Crete, Greece.
Link in Europe and Asia for engineering, Education, Enterprise and Research (LEADER) is an Erasmus Mundus Project, funded by the European Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission.
The LEADER consortium consists of 24 partner universities of Europe and Asia, including Pakistan, promotes academic and research exchange at all levels between European and Asian educational institutions.
According to the Directorate of International and Public Relations, University of Crete Greece’s notification, Prof. Khan has been awarded a four months Teaching Staff research and teaching placement at the University of Crete, Greece to be started from September 1 to December 31. A PhD from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, he is recipient of five gold medals and many other international awards. He is an author of 52 internationally published and 51 nationally published research papers and have attended 32 international conferences overseas.
