Karachi—Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Faisal Vawda’s car was attacked by unidentified gunmen in Karachi on Friday as he was travelling towards his residence in Delhi Colony in a bullet-proof car.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and demanded a report of the attack from Inspector General police.
Faisal Vawda stated that four assailants attacked his car and fired six bullets at the windows but he (Vawda) and PTI spokesperson Imran Ismail who was travelling with him, remained unharmed.
Earlier, Vawda addressing media outside the National Accountability Bureau office along with Imran Ismail, stated that he had evidence regarding the land mafia operating in Karachi and demanded action against those involved in the crime.
Ismael claimed assailants riding two motorcycles targeted the car and opened fire from two sides.
Empty shells of 9MM pistol were found on the site of the attack, where police reached and initiated investigation.
