Citizens of Rawalpindi have protested over delay in the construction of girls college at Railway Road Rawalpindi.
The protestors led by Mohammad Yunus, Mohammad Imran, Saeed Ahmad and others strongly criticized the delay in the construction of girls college.
They said the construction was started some 12 years back but regrettably for non release of funds, the building could not be completed. They said it was an injustice with them as the future of their girls was being destroyed due to non completion of the college.
They appealed the Prime Minister and Punjab Chief Minister to sanction Rs 100 million to complete the construction work.
Meanwhile the district administration Rawalpindi has approved the upgradation of nine schools in the constituency of Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
According to details four primary school will be upgraded to middle school and five middle school have been given status of secondary school.
