Prize distribution ceremony at FAST-NU

The prize distribution ceremony for Semester Spring 2017 of National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU) was held at Islamabad Campus on Friday. Dr. Amir Muhammad, Rector was the chief guest on the occasion. In the ceremony awards were given to students who excelled in academics activities. One hundred twenty medals were awarded to the position holder students.
There were 40 gold, 44 silver and 36 bronze medals. Dr. Arshad Ali Shahid, Director FAST-NU congratulated the winning students and their parents in his welcome address. He also added that the stamp of the FAST-NU gets our graduates lucrative, competitive, and challenging jobs. The graduates of NU are rated and valued much desirably in national and multinational organizations.
Dr. Amir Muhammad, the Chief Guest and Rector of the University said that we do not only focus on the academic and professional development of our students, but also work on their personal growth to make them excellent citizens. FAST-NU is focusing on applied research which can make a significant difference to our national productivity.
He also added that FAST National University is playing a trend setter role in the areas of computer sciences and engineering. He appreciated the research and development projects initiated by the FAST NU faculty enabling technological application in diverse areas of our national economy.
