PPP has bigger vote bank in Karachi than MQM: Ghani

KARACHI, : Peoples Party’s member of Sindh Assembly Saeed Ghani has claimed that his party’s vote bank in Karachi is bigger than that of MQM.

The peace has been restored in Karachi because MQM’s vote-taking system of stamping has become faulty, he added while talking to media prior to attending the session of Sindh Assembly.

Claiming that PPP enjoys a bigger vote bank in Karachi than MQM, Ghani said that the fate of any political alliance against his party would be the same as it had always been in the past. All the people of Sindh Democratic alliance are in contact with us, he added.

Saying that PPP has won the recent by-election he added that MQM used to find for shoulders in the past and also used to kill the people for changing electoral results but this would not happen now.

Replying to a question, Ghani said that he is a political worker who does not dream but most of the dreams of his fellow party colleague and provincial legislator Manzoor Wassan turns out to be true.

MQM and Pak Sarzamen Party would be the one and same before the next general elections, Ghani predicted.
