Police recover 17 stolen vehicles, 30 motorcycles

Rawalpindi—Rawalpindi Police have recovered 17 vehicles and 30 motorcycles stolen from different districts during last three months.
According to detail, the vehicles and motorcycles recovered by police were stolen from Gujranwala, Lahore, Jhelum, Islamabad, Okara and Karachi while seven vehicles and 26 motorcycles were picked from the jurisdiction of Ganjmandi, Pirwadhai, Rattamral, Sadiqabad, New Town, Banni, R.A.Bazar, Race Course, Westridge, Naseerabad, Civil Line, Morgah, Airport, Saddar Baroni, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Chontra and Murree Police stations. The recovered vehicles and motorcycles are being handed over to the owners, the police spokesman informed.
He claimed that due to the efforts made by the district police, there has been considerable reduction in cases of vehicle and motorcycles lifting.—APP
