Police net nine lawbreakers

Rawalpindi—Police in its crackdowns against anti-social elements have netted nine accused and recovered 1850 grams Charas, eight bottles of liquor and three pistols 30 bore with nine rounds from the possession of the accused.
According to Rawalpindi police, Naseerabad police held accused Faisal Irfan for having 400 grams charras. Saddar Wah police netted accused Niaz Khan and recovered 1025 grams Charas.
Murree police arrested accused Muhammad Shahbaz for carrying 310 grams Charas. Waris Khan police recovered 115 grams Charras from accused Saeed Ahmed.
Saddar Baroni police apprehended accused Amir Ijaz and seized eight bottles of liquor.
New Town police rounded up accused Danish Yasir for possessing a 30 bore pistol and two rounds. A pistol was also recovered from the possession of accused Pervaiz while Sadiqabad police nabbed accused Naqash for having an illegal pistol 30 bore with five rounds.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Police have arrested four outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered weapon from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, Tarnol police arrested accused Junaid for having 9mm pistol and ammunition while Industrial-Area police apprehended accused Arif Mehmood for possessing crackers.—APP
