Police kills terrorists, arrests Afghans, rounds up 103 criminals

Karachi—In different actions, anti-trafficking cell of the police arrested 5 Afghans, the Counter-terrorism Department (CTD) killed two terrorists, and 103 others were arrested during house-to –house search in Manghopir and various others areas of Karachi Wednesday.
Reports said that the Afghans had entered Pakistan through Torkham border and had crossed over to Karachi from Khyberpukhtoonkhwa.
They were charges under Foreigners Act for illegally entering the country.
Suicide jackets and hand grenades were recovered from their hide out.
The police had sealed off all approaches to check entry and exit of wanted criminals in the outskirt area of Manghopir It detained 98 persons and moved them to police station. The counter terrorism department had killed two alleged terrorists during encounter in Shah Latif Town.
Four other persons were taken into custody by police from different areas, officials said.
