Police arrest outlaws, kite sellers

Rawalpindi—Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements Wednesday arrested 42 outlaws including 22 kite sellers, kite flying ban violators, six renting rules violators and six gamblers. The police have recovered 1656 kites, 67 kite flying string rolls, 4915 grams charras, four pistols 30 bore with 17 rounds, Two 9mm pistols with four rounds and LPG refilling equipment from the possession of the arrested accused.
According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, Rattaamral police recovered 1380 grams charras from the possession of Sadaqat Ullah Khan. Civil Line police held Waseem with 1160 grams charras while Shakar Khan was sent behind the bars on recovery of 1040 grams charras.
Mandra police seized arrested Raja Gul and recovered 540 grams charras from him.
Gungmandi police arrested Ali Raza and Kashif with 25 kites.
Rattaamral police netted Waseem, Usman, Umar Shah and Ijaz Ul Haq and seized 222 kites and 13 string rolls. Bunni police nabbed Zahid Zameer, Amir Shehzad and Kamran Azad for having 701 kites.
Other accused were booked for having illegal weapons, drugs and kites. Pirwadhai police registered six cases against renting rules violators namely Irfan, Aurangzeb, Amjad Hussain, Muslim Khan, Muhammad Ullah and Sajid.—APP
