Police arrest 33 lawbreakers

Rawalpindi—Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 33 lawbreakers including nine renting rules violators and five for their alleged involvement in immoral activities besides recovering 3206 grams charras, 25 liter wine, 18 bottles of liquor, two pistols 30 bore with seven rounds and two daggers from the possession of the arrested accused.
According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, Rattamral police held Umar Khatab for having 590 grams charras while Muhammad Aslam was rounded up for possessing 1050 grams charras. Saddar Baroni police arrested Gul Muhammad with 1070 grams charras.
Gunjmandi police netted Yasir Khan and Abdul Rehman for carrying 10 liter wine. Waris Khan police apprehended Zakar with five liter wine. Bani police also recovered 10 liter wine from the possession of Ghulam Nabi. R.A.Bazar police held Umar Khaliq and recovered eight bottles of liquor from his possession. Saddar Wah police nabbed Riaz with 10 bottles of liquor. Other accused were sent behind the bars for having drugs, illegal weapons, daggers, fireworks items and liquor.
Saddar Wah police acting on a tip-off conducted a raid in Model Town area and arrested five including three women who were allegedly involved in immoral activities.
Meanwhile, Airport police and Saddar Wah police registered cases against nine renting rules violators identified as Kaleem ullah, Imran, Aziz, Muhammad Ramazan, Zahid, Wajid, Bilal, Adeel and Shahid.—APP
