PNCA stages ‘Anhi Mai Da Sufna’

Islamabad—‘The play “Anhi Mai Da Sufna” was staged here Thursday by Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) in collaboration with Ajoka theatre.
According to a PNCA official, the play is written by Shahid Nadeem and directed by Usha Ganguli. Its theme is ‘dreams which refuse to die’. The old woman, main character of the play, has some dreams for her native village ‘Praem Nagar’.
The official said the story was based on people who had to leave their native village because of the partition of the Sub-continent.—APP
