Advisor to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam has said that Punjab Green Development Program (PGDP) of 273 million dollar will help to move towards green development in the province.
He stated this on Tuesday while addressing a ceremony in connection with launching of Punjab Green Development Program.
Malik Amin Aslam said that the objectives of the program are to strengthen environmental governance and promote green investment in Punjab.
The Advisor to PM on Climate Change said under this project, in the first phase we will set up 10 new monitoring stations within Lahore and funds will also be utilized for converting traditional brick kilns to modern zigzag technology.
Speaking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Environment and Protection Muhammad Rizwan said PGDP will certainly contribute in realizing the objectives of ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’.—INP
