PM’s address reflection of people’s aspirations: MPs

Peshawar—People of every walk of life here on Tuesday termed the address of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as per the reflection of inspirations of the nation. Former President Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ishaq Fawad while commenting on the Prime Minister’s address told APP that it has given a new hope, enormous courage and confidence to people including traders and business community in the fight against terrorism.
The Prime Minister had made it clear to terrorists that the blood of the innocent people would not go in vain and the terrorists would pay for their crimes against the nation and humanity. Ishaq Fawad said elimination of terrorism was imperative for industrial and economic growth besides attracting foreign investment. The resolve and determination shown by the Prime Minister in the fight against terrorism would certainly help increase the level of confidence of the foreign investors and overseas Pakistanis to invest in our country, the KPCCI leader added.
He said Pakistan was ideally placed geographically and construction of Gawadar seaport besides China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would usher a new era of progress and prosperity in our country. Member Provincial Assembly, Rushad Khan said that address of Prime Minister had infused a new strength, courage and spirit in the nation to fight the menace of terrorism, saying the strong commitment of our PM to the national cause was praiseworthy.
He said terrorism was a global challenge that could only be eradicated through collective efforts and extending full support to the government, intelligence agencies and security forces to wipeout this menace once and for all. Referring to Lahore barbaric incident, Rushad Khan said targeting innocent people including children and women at Gulshin Park in Lahore showed the disregard and evil mindsets of the terrorists for humanity, adding killing of innocent people was against the teachings of Islam.
Rehmat Salam Khattak, Provincial General Secretary PML-N termed the address of Prime Minister comprehensive in all respect. He said the Prime Minister has reaffirmed the resolve of his government not to allow the terrorists to resurface and play with the lives of people.—APP
