Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that four years of Pakistan Muslim League-N government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif are witness to transparency, honesty and service. Pakistan Muslim League-N government under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has not only saved resources of billions of rupees in the projects but also completed them in a record period of time, he added.
The Chief Minister said that PML-N government era is unprecedented with regard to transparency and world organizations are also openly acknowledging reduction in corruption in Pakistan. He asked those who committed corruption to peep into their conscience before lecturing transparency. He said that previous governments looted national resources ruthlessly and displayed criminal negligence in important projects of the country and the nation is still facing their consequences.
Shahbaz Sharif said that dictator Musharraf who raised slogan ‘Pakistan First’ and his cronies constructed minarets of corruption in the name of projects and committed a dacoity of billions of rupees in Punjab Bank while criminal negligence was committed in energy projects during the period of Peoples Party.
On one side, the former leaders played a heinous game in the name of electricity while on the other hand, conspiracy was hatched against the progress and prosperity of the country through sit-ins and lockdown which caused a huge loss to economy, he added. He said that the conspirators hatching conspiracies against development of the country and prosperity of the people have been exposed. He said that these elements spared no effort in destroying Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif said that four years of PML-N are a high example of service, transparency and honesty. He said that national resources of billions of rupees saved under the leadership of Prime Minister are being spent on public welfare. He said opponent political elements should know that people give vote only on the basis of performance. He said that conscious people will vote for the success of politics of transparency, honesty and service in 2018 elections. The Chief Minister expressed these views while talking to a delegation of PML-N.
