PM sets an example by presenting himself and his three generations for accountability: Marriyum

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the Government is committed to provide an enabling environment to the country’s industrial sector.
She was addressing the opening ceremony of 7th Interiors Pakistan Exhibition in Islamabad Friday.
The Minister said that it is the vision of Prime Minister to provide optimum opportunities to the industry to flourish. She said the progress made by Pakistan’s macroeconomic sector has been acknowledged internationally.
She said under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif the country is treading on the path of progress.
She said the landmark project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a gift to the nation as it will usher in a new era of prosperity in every part of the country as well as the region by enhanced connectivity.
The minister said CPEC is culmination of Nawaz Sharif’s vision of development that began with the projects like motorways.
She said unfortunately whenever the country is put on the track of progress the counter development narrative begins halting the same by agitation and allegations.She said the new energy projects will help overcome the energy shortage in the country. She said the increase in load shedding these days will be addressed in few days.
Later replying to questions of media persons, the Minister said that the results of bye-elections, the local bodies elections and the elections in Azad Kashmir are a testimony to the fact that people of Pakistan endorse the Government’s policies.
Answering a question about the Supreme Court’s Panama Case decision, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Prime Minister has set an example by presenting himself and his three generations for accountability before the apex court.
She said the Prime Minister underwent accountability in the better interest of the people of the country. She said that false allegations have been levelled against the Prime Minister in the panama Papers case. She said the Supreme Court has rejected the pray of the petitioners.
She said the Prime Minister will also answer all the questions of Joint Investigation team. She said those negating JIT are doing contempt of court.
The Minister said the opposition parties should not create hurdles in the path of progress and development of the country.
She said media has always played positive role in the country. She urged media persons to highlight the development projects.
She also called upon other political parties to focus on welfare of masses in the provinces instead of political bickering.
