PIA Scouts hold Provincial Youth Council meeting

PIA Scouts held a two days selection camp to create a Provincial Youth Council of Scouts. Scouts of all over Pakistan district head quarters Karachi, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar participated. In the opening ceremony Provincial Secretary, Mr. Shamas Khan was present as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the Youth Council camp. While the Directors PIA and scout Patron was Chief Guests of the closing ceremony.
The Provincial Youth Council was hosted by the secretary traning Muhammad ayyaz with Golden Circle members of Pakistan scouts, Mr. Hamza Anwar, Mr. Nasir Khan (JR), and Mr. Farhan Shahid. Chief Engineer and Assistant Provincial Commissioner Mr. Mumtaz Ahsan zubairy and others gave lectures on World Backbone, global scouting, personality of leadership and others.
According to the provincial spokesman Syed Mehboob Qadri, Mr. Omer Soomro as Chairman, Mr. Hamza Khan Vice Chairman and Mr. Arbaz khan as Secretary were elected for 2 years. As such,it was recommended by Pakistan Scouts to have a youth council which was approved to empower youth by involving them in decision making process.Similarly, to transfer this idea to the gross root level it has been tasked to all Provincial headquarters to establish Provincial Youth Councils.
