PHC dismisses DG PDA writ against NAB

PESHAWAR :  The Peshawar High Court

dismissed the writ of the Director General Peshawar

Development Authority(PDA) against National

Accountability Bureau(NAB).

 

The DG  PDA Saleem Watto has appealed the court to stop

NAB proceeding against him.  The High Court’s Justice

Waqar Seth heard the writ.

 

NAB is investigating against DG PDA in allegations of

misappropriation of funds worth millions of rupees.

 

According to NAB officials, DG PDA has indulged in

millions of rupees of corruption in different projects

including  Regi Model Town.  Beside this Watto also has

allegation of misuse of authority and illegal

recruitment.

 

In this connection NAB investigation is underway against

DG PDA on complaint of Hayatabad Residents Society.
