A petition has been filed against Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak in accountability commission. The reference has been filed by Pakistan People’s Party MPA Zia-ul-Afridi, who was previously affiliated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. In the petition, Zia-ul-Afridi claimed that the appointments of managing director of Bank of Khyber and CEO Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organisation are illegal.
Both the appointments were approved by Pervez Khattak, therefore, strict action should be taken against the Chief Minister, the petition added. The petition also states that Khattak used both the officers which caused a loss worth billions of rupees.
